ABSTRACT

The article examines modern trends in the use of online} platforms in distance learning. The prerequisites for the transition to distance education in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic are outlined. Features of the most popular online learning platforms, such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Moodle, are reviewed. A comparison of services and services offered to users of educational platforms was carried out. The performance indicators of the Zoom Video Communications company were considered. Prospects for the development of platforms for distance learning in the future are outlined. © 2022 IEEE.
